This program is designed to teach kids that learning how to cook can be a fun and useful experience. Our cooking program will focus on how to prepare breakfast dishes, lunches, quick-fix dinners, and desserts. This hands-on training will include all safety rules needed to work in a kitchen. Each child will experience working alongside an adult using kitchen appliances and a variety of utensils. Students will be taught how to read and understand cooking terminology (measuring, cutting, blending, and serving). Lunch will be prepared daily using methods listed above and each child will have the opportunity to eat and enjoy what they have prepared.
